53-year-old Papp Imi lives in the region of the Upper Tisza, in Panyola, and he leads fabulous water tours on the novel Öreg-Túr and winding Tisza. On tours, people and children tend to be very cheerful. The canoe trips are always designed for the mood, fitness and age of the participants. Rowing on the Tisza is greatly enhanced by the palajs (sand banks), where hikers can stop several times to have a drink, set up a tent, or play. On the Öreg-Túr, if you paddle like an Indian, that is, silently, you can meet many, many birds, and in the right season, the water is a natural environment similar to a clean aquarium.
