Kristóf Kőrösmezey
I am a 26-year-old architect and I work as a contractor. My wife Juli and I are both tour guides. During the season, from spring to autumn, I like to take part in leading as many tours as possible. This community is an integral part of my life, I am proud to be a member.
I like sport, I think it is very important for physical and mental health - especially if it is connected to nature. I played basketball for years before university, I really like running, hiking, surfing or even sailing. I love all team sports and ball games. An essential part of my favorite hobbies is wild camping and spending time outdoors.
In 2010, I went on a water tour on the Mosoni-Danube for the first time, which was a wonderful experience for me, and even then I was very happy that I got to know Zsolt and EvezzVelem. I have been a tour guide since the 2012 season. I found lifelong friends among the tour guides, and I am also very happy that I got to know so many people as a hiker.
Nature and sports have played an important role in my life since I was a child, yet through EvezzVelem I got to know something that I never thought was so important before. In addition to the closeness of nature, the always good company, and sports, I think that it is almost essential for us, people living in the modern world, to be able to experience sometimes, on the occasion of a wild camping trip, what it is like when we are away from the cities, we are left to ourselves, and yet we can count on ourselves. When our campsite is nature, and we prepare our dinner on a fire made of wood collected and chopped by our own hands with a small group of people we have already gotten to know quite well on the water. The intimate atmosphere of conversations around the campfire, or just a night rowing, hide experiences of a lifetime.
I like that our team consists of tour guides who are real team players, flexible-minded, fluid and experienced people. During our tours, I consider it important to share experiences, the harmony of safety and adventure, and experiencing nature up close. I think that by getting to know our environment, the protection of nature can become close to our hearts.
