Péter Erdős
Hello! Just call me Woody.
I was born ambidextrous because I feel at home in all environments and like to move around, including on/in the water for as long as I can remember. I've been going to Zsolt and the other tour guides for years, but I know something for sure because I'm still here.
I learned to paddle both canoes and kayaks as a child, and I have thousands of river kilometers and (heavens, now) decades of water experience behind me. I like to "read the river" because it also has its own language and signs that need to be experienced - in some cases it can be a lifesaver. Although I have never competed, because for me rowing is more about community. I also do tour guiding because of the community. It's almost unbelievable how travelers from all over the world can get on the same level in just a few days, and what kind of relationships can develop. Of course, openness doesn't hurt. If you come, you'll see it too!
I like fire, wood, not washing dishes, but it is necessary. Sometimes it's good if it's raining and you're muddy and you're hungry and cold and bitten by mosquitoes, because then you can enjoy all the comforts you live in day to day much better.
And anyway: who knows how long we can play in the rivers and the trees will be green?
