We don’t have the sea, but got great hidden beaches of the Danube!
We run canoeing and kayaking trips starting half an hour from Budapest and canoe/kayak back to the city. Or paddle along the City and see it from the water!

We executed the First Hungarian Mekong Expedition in 2006.

Half day canoe trips around Budapest:
Szentendre – Budapest north: 11 km, 20 mins travel from our depo + 30 mins traning and preparing + 2 hours paddling + at halfway possible rest on an island.
Leányfalu – Budapest north: 16 km, 30 mins travel from our depo + 30 mins traning and preparing + 3 hours paddling + possible rest at the sandy beaches of Szentendre (with also a nice walk to its lovely downtown).
Crossing Budapest: from our Budapest north depo to Kopaszi-gát (Budapest south), crossing the centre and 8 bridges, 16 km, start from our depo + 30 mins traning and preparing + 3 hours paddling.

Full day canoe trips around Budapest:
Tahitótfalu – Budapest north, 21 km, 40 mins travel from our depo + 30 mins traning and preparing + 4 hours paddling + possible rest at the sandy beaches of Szentendre (with also a nice walk to its lovely downtown).
Szentendre and crossing Budapest: 26 km, 20 mins travel from our depo + 30 mins traning and preparing + 5 hours paddling + at halfway possible rest at Budapest north

No previous canoeing training is necessary, we will teach you everything. The time of training largely depends on the size of the group!

We have normal 4-person canoes, bigger-than-usual 4-person canoes, single sit-in kayaks, single and double sit-atop kayaks. Unless you have a lot of kayaking experince, we usually paddle the canoes.
