Independent canoe or kayak touring and rental in Budapest and Hungary

We do organize canoeing tours, but you can also do it on your own with some previous experince. You can rent 4,6,7 and 8-person canoes, single and double sit in and sit atop kayaks in Budapest.

If you choose to do it without guiding we can supply you with everything you might need, including know-how. We did the First Hungarian Mekong Expedition in 2006.

What we can surely provide you with:

canoe or kayak rental for even 80 passengers (or just 1),
life-vests and paddles at your size,
tent, sleeping bags, mattresses,
axe, cooking pot, gas cooker and cutlery,
waterproof plastic barrels as many as you want for you clothes and stuff,
river map and fully detailed English-language description of the specific river you visit,
everything else you ask for

What kinds of canoes and kayaks do we have?

We have normal, stable 4-person canoes If you have luggage 2 or 3 persons fit is comfortably
Bigger-than-usual 4-person canoes with 4 benches, which are even more stable. If you are 4 adults it is probably better to take one of these canoes
6,7 and 8-person canoes
Single sit-in kayaks with storage boxes both at the front and the back
Single and double sit-atop kayaks

Every canoes and kayaks have double airboxes (against sinking)

We advise river, departure and finish point getting there information, book accomodation and whatever you need. Surely arrange the transport of the canoes/kayaks. If you are 3-4 persons we can transport you to your river and back at the end.
